Me on Matainui

Well I'm not normal anymore but I do have a pretty polished finish. Because of the special watch I have on. I also have special powers that include invincibility, flying, super strength and of course acolourful yet modest shine finish My friends Josiah, Grayson and Andrew have the same power the same thing.

The Action Packed Story Of Adventures On Matainui

DAY 1

After a week of preparation and a night in Kawhia, Room 18 set off onto the water in a sea plane piloted by Sam one of our class mates. Suddenly the engines roar and water starts speeding past us the plane crashing trough the waves towards the harbour bar. Just as the first wave is about to hit us we soar into the air leaving the amazing view of the west coast of the north island behind. "Next stop Matainui" pilot Sam shouts over the micro-phone. "I think it's time to have a sleep" I say to myself and doze off....

I wake suddenly but not because of the noise but because of the silence and weightlessness. We appear to be floating in a non gravitational field with no sound, well lets look on the bright side no screaming because right now if I could hear a thing it would be screaming. Then suddenly we all get thrown into our seats as we start to descend rapidly towards a piece of land that looks like the island we're going to. All the sound comes back and as I said there are people screaming. The screaming is probably too much for me but I manage to get through it somehow luckily we are not heading towards the island we are going to crash 100 to 200 metres off shore, well it lucky for the people who can swim. Over the microphone Sam shouts "I never passed my test". I get up grab my bag as I fall down towards the pilots cabin I jump in the co-pilot seat and strap myself in. I have every thing I need so I brace myself for a crash landing. "Get into emergency position for crash landing" Sam shouts into the microphone. He bends down and rests his head on the pilot wheel. Splash we dive down into the water and emerge about 100 meters away from shore somebody opens the hatch and every body climbs out into the sea. The groups help their own team mates swim back, everybody gets to the beach safe and sound, well nearly everybody we lost two people in our group and some other groups lost more. There's only one other problem, some people lost their packs and couldn't get to them without getting swept away by the current, but some just left them in the plane because they forgot about them. We were discussing plans when Mac and James walk down to the waves and strip off to their undies, our group approaches them and Josiah asks "what are you two doing going skinny dipping" "Ha Ha Ha Ha HA" our whole group laughs, "yeah" Mac replies "we're going skinny dipping" "we're actually going...." James starts but Mac cuts him off. "James don't tell them lets go" Mac hisses like it's really important. They wade out into the water and dive head first, Josiah, Sam and Myself strip to our skins and follow....

Out at the plane the current is quite strong so we have to hold on tightly to the tail because that is the only thing that is visible above the water. Only the plane tail is above the water so we suspect there is an air bubble in the tail, Mac decides he will go and have a look he dives down and does not reappear, so I dive down and pull myself in the door but as I'm swimming my skins get stuck on some loose piece of seating I thrash my arms at seat cover I eventually get free and swim my fastest up to he air bubble. As soon as Mac saw me he grabbed his pack or at least I think it is his pack and dives down and out, he obviously makes it because I hear James saying "well-done." I find Graysons pack wedged between one of the seat legs and the wall I yank at it and it comes free. I dive down but the pack is water-prof and hardly any water has got into it so it acts like a life jacket and pulls me back up towards the air bubble pop, I cough and splutter as I swallow water I try again this time I push the bag out the door and swim even faster than I did at my swim squad training back home. I make it and Josiah helps me grab onto the plane. James dives down and reappears about 10 seconds later with a ripped parachute. Josiah goes down and stays under for a little bit longer and slash he reappears on the other side of the plane than where he went under at least he scored better than James, he is holding a full parachute Sam decides he will go get some important stuff from the pilot cabin he comes up with a tatty but full parachute and a pocket knife. James and Mac start swimming back to shore while we gather our stuff together, we start to make our way back to shore with 2 full parachutes, 1 pocket knife and Graysons pack. We arrived back at the shore, Grayson wasn't there, that's random he said he would be back, "maybe he's found something" Josiah suggests "I think you're right" I agree.....

We set up camp close to the beach because we haven't decided where we are going to go yet. Everybody goes to rest after a long day of mysterious events.... 45 Minutes Later while I'm on look out duty to make shore nobody steals our stuff....... Grayson bursts trough the bush with Andrew, well It looks like Andrew, with a tentacle for a leg, one really really BIG tooth and octopus suckers growing up his arm. "What happened" I exclaim well he also can't talk probably because he opened his mouth and Grayson cut him off and said his "leg got mutated" "don't you mean his whole body got mutated" I correct him. We go around packing up and Grayson starts turning out the lights "no don't do that" I tell him "why" he asks "because its Josiah's turn to be on watch next and he want to be able to se everything" I fill him in "whats with the on watch thing" Grayson asks. "Well I thought other groups might be looking around to go find resources and might try to steal some of our stuff so we assigned ourselves watch times" I answer "okay Josiah should be up now it's 12 o-clock" I say, I go get him up and tell Grayson not to show him Andrew so we make Andrew a little tent under the parachute and Grayson and myself get to sleep......

I'm slowly dozing off when I hear a clap of thunder I jump up and race out to where Josiah and Sam already are there are clouds closing in from all directions. We can hear and thunder clapping and see lightning striking when suddenly about 200 Metres off shore it all stops and the clouds stayed there. We waited until we were positive that they were not coming ant closer and then went back to our tents.

DAY 2

Run I Shout to Grayson, Him and Josiah Pick up Andrew in a stretcher and run. I raise the sharp stick I'm holding in my hand and clutch my other on my hunting knife. the huge bird swoops down but as I expected it goes for Grayson, Josiah and Sam most luckily because they don't have big sticks in their hands. Josiah and Grayson decide to change courses and run into some bush on the side of the main track. "No"! Sam shouts he must Know there is something bad down there. he stops and the bird swoops down and grabs him around the chest and yanks him into the air. I run into the bush on the side of the track to skid to a stop half a meter away from the edge of a vertical drop as I peak over the side I see them three tatty bloodstained bodes lying lifeless on the ground. "Arrrrr"! I hear Sam's shout of pain. Oh no! I forgot about Sam I sprint out of the bush to see him drop lifelessly to the ground. crunch there goes Sam's skull as the bird crushes it. "OH" I shout, the bird soars into the air and swoops down towards me suddenly In feel nothingness.....

Arrr! I wake to find Grayson, Josiah and Sam standing around me. "What happened" Josiah exclaims "just a bad dream" I reply I get changed into clothes for tramping because we are going to hike through the bush today we pack up our camp and set off...

In the forest we decide it is nice and thick and nobody would come to try and steal our stuff so we start to look around for a clearing or something that we can set up camp in. suddenly we come to a bunch of vines that are blocking our path, Grayson, Sam and Josiah pull out their axes and start to hack and the vines the vine shrink back like to revel a secret pathway but all we see is the same old track we are walking on. suddenly the vines rear up and engulf Sam, Josiah and Grayson. Andrew spots Josiah's leg and grabs on with his suckers on his arm and they get pulled up into the air. I hear shouts and screams of my friend but there is nothing I can do but stand here and watch the life being sucked out of them. Suddenly It is quiet except for Andrew who is trying to tell me something. I manage to translate what he is saying "they are only unconscious" wait that's good a sucking noise starts coming from the tree, I look up to see the vines being pulled into the tree along with my friends. I start to panic as the last of the vines disappear. I look around at the bottom of the tree to find a brownish thing "urr yuck" I stand up in disgust. Suddenly a bell rings in my head and then I start panicking again these trees have eaten other things and now my friends are going to end up like this I start hacking at the bottom of the tree with all my strength Grayson flys out he is covered in goo he is not breathing but after I clear the goo from around his mouth he coughs and splutters as he starts breathing again he helps me get the others out and get them breathing again after that Josiah and Sam and Andrew start for the entrance of the forest as I start to search around in the Brown things. In one of them I touch something solid, I pull on it and suddenly fall back. I stand up and examine what I have found, it appears to be a 3 fingered hand I put it in my lunch box which is empty, I close the lid and shove it in my bag and Grayson and I get out of there. We meet the rest of our group at the entrance of the forest and start for the beach. We reach the beach by lunch we stop and sit down for a rest...

We decided to go up the mountain and search for resources e.g. fresh water and food. We have just started to walk when we spot another group walking towards us from the other end of the beach. We speed up because we have a hunch that they might come and steal our stuff...

We find a stream coming from high in the mountain we follow it to see if it comes from a spring. As we get closer to were we think the spring will be the water starts to go a funny colour. then the stream veers to the left strait into a cave Grayson, Andrew and I Crawl into the cave... We crawl for what seems like an hour when suddenly we hear a strange flapping noise. Suddenly I feel this intense prick in my back. "Arrr"! me and Grayson scream together as a swarm of HUGE bats attack us. Andrew screams and drops his torch, he seems to find it again because the beam shines through the cave and all the bats flap and fly away. Andrew shines the light at the roof of the cave to find that we can stand well grow 3 metres and still stand Andrew is moving the beam back and forth so it is very hard to see anything, suddenly the light shines upon something that looks like 5 chests I pull out my own torch and shine it where I saw them. True enough there are 5 chests sitting there rotting but they seem to have a futuristic locking mechanisms...

Andrew suddenly points to a message on the wall that seems to say FIBONA with 2 smudged letters and ends with an I. "FIBONACCI"! Grayson and Andrew shout in unison. Andrew pulls out his pen and paper from his awesome pocket knife he thinks he has cracked the code...

Andrew opened the first one and the whole cave lit up as Andrews torch shone off every kind of gem you can imagine. We all were speechless. As Andrew and Grayson stared dumbstruck at the gems, I go over to open the second chest to found a skull. But it was no ordinary skull it was the Mayan skull that meant death. After quickly putting it down I rushed over to Grayson to see what was in the third one. To our surprise it was a necklace with the eye of Horus attached. It meant protection. What a weird collection of stuff we all thought...

I opened the fifth one to find three strange futuristic wrist bands with six white buttons and like all the other stuff we found they were a shiny metallic silver. I gave one to Andrew and Grayson and put one on myself. When I put it round my wrist it made a faint click. I tried getting it off but it wouldn’t budge and by the time I was about to warn Grayson and Andrew but they already already had had on. “What harm can a watch do to us” Grayson said sarcastically. Then he pushed the first button. A silver membrane started to cover Him he fort back afraid it would do him harm then he stopped he must have decided it was not harmful. After seeing Grayson's transformation Andrew and I were afraid but Grayson just said “Press the button”. We complied thinking Grayson was going to hurt us. After I had finished my transformation I yelled “I’ve never felt better in my life”. Straight away we all pressed the second button at the same time. Noting happened unless that’s what I thought. A silver board appeared under mine and Grayson's feet and my head touched something. It was the roof of the cave! Andrew looked normal again but with the same silver finish as Grayson and I. I throw a mock punch at Andrew but he flew through the air into the cave wall creating a huge bang. Rocks started to fall and we flew down and put all the things into one chest and flew over the ledge we had difficulty with before (while dodging falling rocks I might add) and out into the fresh air...

We set up camp on the slope of the mountain and start to sort out our goods that we found we have shared out the gems and other artifacts when suddenly Grayson and Andrew stand up in unison and look towards the sky where there seems to be a flying pyramid shape in the sky. Grayson, Andrew and myself lift off into the air after finding out that we can fly and after the cave accident we thought we will put our flying ability to the test... We fly at speeds towards the U.F.O. in the sky and raise our fists for a hard impact. Suddenly a blinding light comes from the U.F.O. as we are sucked into it. I hear Grayson and Andrew shouting which stops a bit too abruptly as we are finally consumed by the craft or what ever it is.....

DAY 3

Wake to find 3 sets of eyes looking down at me, I sit up and see that I am in a cell with Grayson, Mac, Malik and an unconscious Andrew. Grayson has huge bags under his eyes and by "Bags" I mean he looks very tired so I suspect he passed out as well. Andrew stirs in his sleep and suddenly sits up I move so that he doesn't kick me and I smash into some metal framing and turn to see that there is another cell just through the bars and in that cell are Maddy, Morgan and Leah. We hear the Bang! Bang! Of doors opening and closing, we all look out the door to see what it is. Mac Pushes me out of the way and I fall and land on Andrew he wakes startled. I apologize to Andrew and quickly make my way to the cell door…

“Wahoo” I shout as I fly out of the cell door after the aliens unlock it. One of the bigger aliens grabs me and throws me into the wall I brace myself for a fatal impact, but it never comes instead I feel a little tingle in my back. I suddenly remember that I’m a silver surfer I jump up and fly full speed towards the big alien that threw me, but Grayson moves faster as I see him in front of me I slow to a stop and land I look at the big alien suspiciously and Grayson explains that they are taking us out to show us what they are doing and why everything is really weird…

The aliens lead us into a theatre type thing that has a big screen at the front with five rows of seat we quick make our way to the seat we want we are all desperate for a comfortable seat after the amazingly hard beds and seats in the cells. As we sit down the screen flicks to life I start showing us a movie of people dying and suffering and then it shows a bubble pointing out of the earth then a arrow points to it and says this is where you are and something in everybody clicks as if they were trying to figure out a really hard riddle “so” Mac starts “this is a protective bubble” Grayson finishes as he points to the bubble…

An alien with a staff chooses Mac, Malik, Maddy, Morgan and Leah to give them something Malik gets a drink substance he drinks it and disappears into a puddle of water where his feet should have been then the water rises and turn into Malik and keeps going back and forth for the rest of the time we are there, Leah gets some Runes with some strange Mayan symbols on them, Mac gets a skull made out of pure crystal, Morgan gets a balm of some type we find it is a “healing balm”, Maddy gets a staff that has some Mayan statue with wings It looks like a “goddess”.  The aliens send the others to wait with us and then they keep Morgan and she stays with them… She comes out looking sick and rubs some of the healing balm on her chest she heals immediately… 

The aliens send the others down a tunnel to some unknown place and turn to us to ask us and give us a choice, we decide to follow them and at the end of the tunnel we fall out and land softly in a grass place with the other group right beside us we stand up to find that we are in a place like Matcu Picu. We see a temple standing higher than all the other buildings we decide that is where we should go…

As we enter the temple we see a glowing light and pass into a trance, I see a fire with a person inside it the person says sacrifice Malik and all your lives will be spared  we are about to sacrifice Malik when Maddy snaps out of the trance and saves him. But the fire keeps burning and Maddy has to fight against us to make us stop eventually we snap out as well and we help Maddy save Malik from the evil fire Goddess. We go out of the temple and try to find something to sacrifice a Wood Pigeon fly’s into view and I fly into the air to catch it just as I am about to grab it when it disappears out of the air I look round to see Maddy holding up the staff and the bird in her hand I land on the ground and we make for the temple…

In the temple we sacrifice the bird and two oak doors open up to revel the sun and the island. We walk out and as we walk through Maddy, Morgan, Leah and Mac collapse to the ground and Malik, Grayson, Andrew and Me run towards them. After trying to help them and finding that it is no use Andrew lifts off to go find Josiah. The others start to move but they don’t wake up. Leah jolts suddenly and stands up to revel wings growing in her back, Maddy and Morgan do the same and then Mac stands up to revel that he is a lepricorn…

After what fells like hours Andrew arrives back with Josiah and Josiah tells us everything that happened from us leaving him and Sam to what happened just before Andrew came to get him. We hear that he had ditched Sam because I wondered where Sam was. Grayson, Andrew and myself all pat Josiah on the back for keeping our stuff safe But as we do a silver coating starts forming round Josiah a watch clicks round his wrist and the silver spreads over him. All four of us launch into the air and start to speed as fast as we can upwards and About 200 metres up we turn and hurtle towards the ground we all land at the same time and Josiah Shouts “yeeha!” We look to see the other group have found some berries to eat we all put one in our mouth at the same time and fell really dazed. I find a silver fern to sleep under and fall into the deepest sleep ever.  

DAY 4

We all wake at the same time and we wonder why we seem to do things at the same time, we fly off at the same time, we land at the same time we wake up at the same time, well you know what I mean. The others wake slowly but something wired has happened Maddy, Morgan and Leah all have transformed into things that are like what animal Goddesses turn into in some of those movies I used to see back in Hamilton...

The others keep talking about Emma and James who must have got lost and the aliens took Maddy and her group but they have finally come to the conclusion that they are going to go find them and bring them back here. "We are going to stay here" call to the others as they tramp out into the woods...

As we watch the others body outlines tramp into the distance we all sit down for a bite to eat i press the button on my watch and the suit disappears I stuff a huge sandwich in my mouth and go for a rest under the fern...

I hear a rustling noise in the bush I jump up and push the button to put my suit on and rush to where I heard it. after a while the others push the bush aside and step into the clearing Maddy is holding Emma in her arms wow they must be stronger than before. Maddy puts Emma down slowly to the ground she looks very sick. Mac runs to his bag and unzips it and appears shortly afterwards with a skull similar to ours. He places it on Emma's forehead and the colour  returns to her face...

We all stand up to look out from the mountain to see the island and again we notice something very strange, the mountains are pyramids and the whole island looks amazing but the one thing that catches everybody's eye is a water fall at the bottom of the mountain. The silence is broken with the big crash crash of giant footsteps as a huge swamp creature  bursts through the bush I swoop up into the air and swoop down again to suddenly stop when I hear Maddy say "hi James"...

Morgan decides that we should go down to the water fall and check it out and we all agree                           so we start to make our way there...

At the waterfall we decide to sleep there as we suddenly clasped by the beauty we all drop to our knees and start to drink out of it to find that the water is pure and that we can fill out water containers with it. after everyone is full we set up camp to sleep and fall asleep fast...

DAY 5

After waking up from a pathetic sleep I pack my bag for the long journey ahead to the cave that we think  might have something special about it...

As we embark on this long journey we all seem really tired the going is slow so slow that I can't bear it any longer and I grab a one square meal out of my pack I gulp it down and feel much better I hand one out to everyone else and say "this will help" and it does everybody looks a lot more awake...

As the pace quickens we start to move allot faster but about half way there the ground shakes violently tacking us all of our feet the sea level rises and turns into a whirlpool as a beam of light shines down through the middle by this time everybody had run and Josiah, Grayson, Andrew and I all fly into the air and fly frantically away as the winds get stronger it gets harder and eventually we are too tired to take any more the wind sucks us in and I black out...

3 hours later...

I wake to see whiteness and Grayson, Josiah and Andrew floating along beside me...

"Ahhh" I shout as I fall I retain my balance and sharpen up as we soar across Matainui we spot the mountain and lower our hight we swoop down into the cave and fly in a straight line through the heart of the mountain. We land about five kilometers into the tunnel and see the other group but there is one other thing there it seems to be a talking monkey and he has some sort of machine beside him and I walk closer to find that it is a time machine "oh-no not more time portholes" I groan and pass out...

DAY 6

I wake suddenly and the monkey tells me to quickly stand on a pink spot on the floor "good luck" the monkey says and pushes a button on the time machine and woosh!! we are in the past we can all see what we were doing then we seem to be... designing our villages on matainui "I remember that" I say to my self. "Well of course you remember" a voce in my head says to me, "well actually I don't really remember" I think back "what if I'm loosing my mind" I think "you have just got a bit too much on your mind" the voice says back I was looking at my self  hoping that he would do the right thing and change the world one day but it was never going to happen he was just a child what could he do...

Whoosh! We all arrive back in the cave I'm feeling a bit emotional about what just happened. There is lots of arguing going on in the background and  the monkey orders silence and makes us stand on the pink spot again. With a flick of a button whoosh! We appear at the entrance to the cave but it is night that  only felt like five seconds but it was really two hour and now we need to find a place to sleep...

After giving farewells and thank-yous to the monkey and flying to the water fall we nestle in for a good night sleep...


In the middle of the night I woke up I thoughT I heard someone screaming "it must have been in my dream" I said to my self but as I was dozing off I heard it again. It was Morgan Me and Grayson jump up and go and see what is wrong  "just a bad dream go back to sleep" she tells us...

DAY 7

After Flying up to the top of the mountain to have a look for what we are going to do next we saw a big sigh with the capital letters saying ICE-CREAM. We fly down, pack our bag and head for the lake to see that Jordan and Cairo are selling ice-cream on a boat on the lake. There is every flavour and colour you could think of it was endless and we also found out that Jordan is a shape-shifter and he can change himself and the things around him into anything he likes just like Emma who can do the same except Jordan can't become invisible...


We exchange stories and find out quite a bit and they also told us there plans for tomorrow they told us they were going to make a huge ice-cream pool where you can swim and eat at the same time we decide to stay with Jordan and Cairo for the night and go with them to the ice-cream pit tomorrow...


All is silent except for the muffled snorting of James I fall back on my pillow and wish so hard that this would all just stop and that I could go home to my family and tell the world what we need to do or else the human race will be extinguished... 


"Arr" I try shout as I start to suffocate, I see my family and my friends suffocating around me...


I wake to find everything normal. I flop back down on my pillow and fall into a deep sleep...

DAY 8

We wake and Jordan and Cairo lead us to a place that Jordan says is perfect for his plan. Suddenly I get a bad cramp in my stomach, Andrew grabs my arm as I fall but I still leave a crack in the ground, I stand  and  fall again whats wrong Andrew asks "light headed" I reply as I fall unconscious...

I wake to see I am in a beach tent at the side of a cliff which drops into a pit of nothing but ice-cream and in it are all of my friends having a great time. I don't even check the height I dive and hit the cream with more speed than I expected. My head pops up with a full mouth of ice-cream "not another crack in the ground" Andrew moans sarcastically him and Grayson crack up laughing "well and least you guys are enjoying yourselves" I say, "enjoying ourselves" Grayson laughs "we're having the best time of our lives" Andrew shouts "well time time flys when you are having fun so dig in I shout and I dive back down for more...

After a action packed day of ice-cream eating we all fell a bit tired and a bit sick and there was nothing else to do but go and have a good night sleep...

DAY 9

I wake suddenly from a very sick feeling in my stomach I try to get out of bed but the feeling overpowers me as I flop down on pillow and fall fast asleep...

My friends wake me up tell me that mac has gone, run away with his stuff and that he has joined another group and started camping with them. Well thats what they thought he had done. The others all look really sick but they are not acting like that. After I have packed my bag I look round the clearing but there is no one there I search further to find Grayson, Andrew and Josiah talking but where are the others I thought they were getting ready, I search a bit more to find Maddy and Leah helping Morgan who seems to have fainted but she is still conscious enough to talk she tells us to go to the water fall and take her there...

At the water fall everybody drinks ferociously, amazingly everybody's faces turn back to the same colour Morgan lifts her head up, stands up and lifts of into the air, everybody does the same except for Malik and James who can't fly.

We arrive back at camp and the sun is just scraping the horizon, "far out the day went fast" I say "no it went very slow it is just you slept through most of it" says Grayson. "Well then lets all get a good sleep" I suggest and everybody nods and finds a place to sleep for the night...

DAY 10

We woke and packed our bags for a long journey well flight and lifted off we went to explore a small beach on the upper coast and behind a tree in the bush  there was Mr Woody's and Mrs McConnell's old limestone house which after a bit of searching we found it was stacked with food and enough to last us for the rest of the week we all sit down and dig in to the new supplies we have found and decide to stay the night there...

The food was good and healthy and was good enough to keep us going all day. The day was slow but relaxing and all we did was sit around and tell storys about back home but that didn't help becuse that  night I had the same dream that I had on "Day 8" suffocating to my death as the world dyed around me killing everyone and I knew the one place that could keep them safe and that was Matainui Island but by that tome it was already too late and the only people who were going to live was no one thats when I wake up but I could never find the strength in my legs to get up instead I just fall back to sleep againa nd well guess what I have the same dream...

The fourth time I woke I found some strength in my legs and stood up I went for a fly around the island to calm myself I arrive back at camp and fall asleep as soon as I put my head on my pillow...

DAY 11

All the others woke late but I woke at about 6:45 am and I was sitting up trying to work out if it was possible that we would get back to our families again "you will, you will" a voice kept saying in my head but I didn't really trust it. I had a very bad fear that it was too late to save the world and that coming here was really a pointless class camp. as I lay down on my pillow I heard the voice of my sister I saw a vision Mum Dad and grace huddled on a couch, "when is Leon getting back" Grace asks Mum and 

Dad both shack there heads "I don't know" Dad replies... 

We relax again for the whole day but something is wrong "I haven't seen Morgan all day" I say to Grayson "nether" he agrees "oh well she is just probably really tired" he says and we leave it at that...  

That night I have the same dream but after four I still can't find the strength in my legs I start to get worried but then at six repeats my legs start to move I stand  to find I am sweating I do the same as last night and fly to the opposite side of the island and back just to calm myself I get back and don't dream for the rest of the night...

DAY 12

The next morning we all told Morgan what had happened, Emma then told them to bring her a long twig and she made that into a rope, they then put it around Morgan's neck and we all woke up. We told her never to take off the necklace because something very bad would happen...

She dare not take off the necklace in any situation, I could tell she kept thinking about the dream and what if it came true the document said that there were two groups of Aliens and she seemed really scared...

I heard her say it herself if I don't think about it I won't get scared and so I did. We forgot it and carried on with our journeys. Morgan, Leah, Emma and Maddy went down to the beach around the little island and rested there for a while...

After waiting and waiting for the girls to come back James said "that is it I'm going to look for them" and   we all decided to go with him as we get to the beach we see their stuff but where are they suddenly a space craft soars over us "I bet you that they are in there" Grayson says and we decide to sleep at the  beach for the night...

DAY 13

After waking to find that Maddy, Morgan, Emma and Leah hadn't come back we all started to get really worried we flew over the island more than six times but each time we couldn't find anything eventually we gave up and decided to wait for them to "Magically Reappear" as some would say but on Matainui that happens all the time we decide to sleep for a couple of hours just so we can keep our energy levels up...

After sleeping for about six hours we wake to find that it is 6:30 pm and that along the beach there are some bodies not moving or doing anything but sleeping deep sleeps we run well fly over to find it is  Maddy, Emma Morgan and Leah but their clothes are dry thats weird because they can't have been here for that long Grayson, James, Josiah and myself pick up the girls and put them gently under a flax bush on the dune after that we go to sleep after a crazy day of worrying...

DAY 14

We wake the next day full of excitement and eat a good breakfast quickly and get ready fast so we can swim out to the spaceship again and deliver the ankh! So when everyone is ready we try and get straight out there to present the aliens with our gift. None of us can wait until 12 noon, so we leave at ten to 12 instead...

The swim is pretty straight forward and no one gets tangled up this time, we get there in short timing, and none of girls can contain their excitement, so we quickly jump out and on to the opening of the ship and I press the button again and this time the ship starts going up, up, up, into the sky but very slowly. The alien opens the door and gestures to us to follow him...

We follow him to the room where we got the things and he says "Have you got the Ankh"? he asks, yes we do". You learnt to speak english?" Maddy says, after all she is the spokeswomen for our group."Very good, and yes we have learnt to speak english", "it has been quite a challenge. "Can we please have the ankh?" The alien asks in a tensed voice. "That's good, yes, here it is." Morgan steps forward, slowly she is a little bit apprehensive of the aliens, "Here, it was a gift to me, but you need it to get us back so here take it." She says frightened.
"Thank you very much, I sense tension between me and you, there is no need to worry, you will not regret this decision. We are on your side, ahhhh that's better."
Morgan chuckles a little bit. "I can see why"!...

The swim back takes longer it is very sad it feels like we are leaving the best thing that ever happened to us behind. We finally arrive at the shore and stumble onto the sand and go to rest under a flax...

Suddenly we heard heaps of people coming towards the beach we were lying apon talking about there exciting adventures and how cool this trip was. Then a plane from the outside came and took us home, when we went outide the bubble all our powers were gone and we were all normal again.

It was sad to leave Matainui, but it was and adventure of a lifetime.
